Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Signaasat Healthcare Private Limited ("Signaasat," "we," "our," or "us") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on our website. This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy and applies to any URL at which our website is published.

We publish this policy in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"), the Information Technology Act, 2000, and applicable Indian regulations.

1. What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile) when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognise your device on return visits and store information about your preferences and activity.

Similar technologies include:

  • Pixels and web beacons — tiny image files or code snippets that track when a page or email is opened
  • Local storage and session storage — browser-based storage used by websites to hold data on your device
  • Tag managers — tools that load multiple tracking scripts through a single container (e.g. Google Tag Manager)

Throughout this policy, we refer to all of these collectively as "cookies" unless otherwise specified.

2. Categories of cookies we use

We use four categories of cookies:

A. Strictly necessary cookies. These are essential for the website to function — enabling navigation, secure areas, form submissions, and remembering your cookie preferences. These cookies do not track you across other sites and cannot be switched off in our systems. They are set on the basis of "legitimate use" under Section 7 of the DPDP Act and do not require your consent.

B. Analytics cookies. These help us understand how visitors interact with the website — which pages are visited most, how visitors arrive, where they leave — so we can improve the experience. These cookies are set only after you provide consent.

C. Marketing cookies. These are used to measure the effectiveness of our own marketing campaigns (Meta, Google, LinkedIn) and, where applicable, to show you relevant content on other platforms. These cookies are set only after you provide consent.

D. Functional cookies. These remember choices you make (such as language, region, or interface preferences) to provide an enhanced, personalised experience. These cookies are set only after you provide consent.

Access to the website does not depend on accepting non-essential cookies. You can decline analytics, marketing, and functional cookies and still use the website fully.

3. Cookies currently used on this website

The table below lists the specific cookies used on our website, their purpose, and their retention period. This inventory is reviewed and updated periodically. For an up-to-date, live inventory, please refer to the cookie preference centre available via the "Cookie settings" link in our footer.

--We do not currently set functional cookies.--

Cookies listed here reflect the standard cookies set by the named services. Actual cookies set on any given visit may vary based on your interaction, browser, and consent preferences. To see the exact cookies active in your current session, use your browser's developer tools (Application → Cookies) or the "Cookie settings" link in our footer.

4. Consent — how it works

On your first visit. When you first arrive on our website, no non-essential cookies are set. A cookie banner will appear presenting you with three options:

  • Accept all — consents to all cookie categories
  • Reject non-essential — declines analytics, marketing, and functional cookies; only strictly necessary cookies are set
  • Customise preferences — lets you choose each category individually

Only after you make a choice do we set (or refrain from setting) cookies in the corresponding categories.

Your consent is recorded. We record the fact and time of your consent, the choices you made, and the version of this Cookie Policy in effect at the time. This record is retained for evidentiary purposes as required under the DPDP Act.

Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the "Cookie settings" link in our footer. Withdrawing consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before you withdrew consent.

Consent Management Platform. Our cookie consent banner is provided by our integrated consent management solution. Consent records and preferences are stored locally in your browser.

5. Third-party services and cross-border data transfers

Several of the cookies described above are set by third-party services. These providers receive information about your visit and process it in accordance with their own privacy policies.

ServiceProviderPrivacy policy
Google Analytics 4Google LLC (United States)policies.google.com/privacy
Google AdsGoogle LLC (United States)policies.google.com/privacy
Meta PixelMeta Platforms, Inc. (United States)facebook.com/policy.php
LinkedIn Insight TagLinkedIn Corporation (United States)linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy

Cross-border data transfer. Data collected through these cookies is transmitted to and processed on servers operated by the respective providers, some of which are located outside India. Under Section 16 of the DPDP Act, such transfers are permitted except to countries specifically restricted by notification of the Central Government. For more detail, see our Privacy Policy.

6. Session recording and behavioural analytics

Where enabled, we may also use behavioural analytics tools that record aggregated, anonymised session data — such as mouse movements, scroll depth, and click patterns — to help us understand and improve the user experience. These tools do not record keystrokes in form fields containing personal data. Where such tools are in use, they will be listed in Section 3 above and will be set only after you consent.

7. How to manage cookies

You have three ways to manage cookies:

A. Through our cookie preference centre. The most direct way to control cookies on our website is through the "Cookie settings" link in our footer. This lets you change your preferences by category at any time.

B. Through your browser. Most browsers let you view, manage, delete, and block cookies. See:

  • Chrome: support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647
  • Firefox: support.mozilla.org/kb/enhanced-tracking-protection-firefox-desktop
  • Safari: support.apple.com/guide/safari/manage-cookies-sfri11471
  • Edge: support.microsoft.com/microsoft-edge

Blocking all cookies — including strictly necessary ones — may affect the functionality of the website.

C. Through third-party opt-out tools. For advertising cookies specifically:

  • Google Analytics browser opt-out add-on: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout (browser extension required)
  • Google Ads personalisation: adssettings.google.com (change your ad personalisation settings while logged into a Google account)
  • Meta advertising preferences: facebook.com/adpreferences (available while logged into your Meta account)
  • LinkedIn advertising preferences: linkedin.com/psettings/advertising (available while logged into your LinkedIn account)
  • Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out (India / global): youronlinechoices.com

8. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Your browser may send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) or "Global Privacy Control" (GPC) signal indicating that you do not wish to be tracked. Because there is no consistent industry or legal standard for how these signals should be interpreted in India, our website does not currently respond to DNT or GPC signals automatically. To ensure your preferences are respected, please use our cookie preference centre.

9. Cookies and children

We do not knowingly set marketing, advertising, or behavioural analytics cookies on the devices of users under 18 years of age. In accordance with Section 9 of the DPDP Act, our marketing and advertising cookies are designed to comply with the prohibition on tracking children for behavioural monitoring or targeted advertising.

10. Changes to this Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use, the services we integrate with, or applicable legal requirements. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. If we make material changes — for example, adding a new category of cookies — we will notify you through the cookie banner and, where appropriate, request fresh consent.
